Scope and purposes

This policy explains how MESHWORKS handles personal data when you visit the website, contact us or use the service. Questions and requests can be sent to support@meshworks.pt.

We use account, contact and billing information to provide the service and respond to enquiries. Technical and operational records support administration, security and troubleshooting. Processing is based on the applicable agreement, legal obligations, legitimate service and security interests, or consent where required.

When we process personal data within a customer's workspace on its instructions, that customer determines the purposes of the processing. The applicable service and data processing agreement governs that work.

Your content

You retain your rights in your content, including bills of materials, drawings, supplier information and project documents. MESHWORKS does not use customer content to train AI models, sell it or derive commercial intelligence for its own benefit.

We process content to provide the functions you request, support and protect the service, and comply with law. Authorised personnel and providers may access it for those purposes. Operational usage records may include a short request excerpt; this is distinct from model training.

AI and external providers

AI features may send the information needed for a request to the configured provider. OpenAI and Anthropic state that their commercial API inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default. Their account settings, retention, safety and legal exceptions still apply. We do not promise that external processing has no retention.

Using your own API key does not keep data local. Any local deployment or model configuration must have its processing and external connections confirmed. MESHWORKS remains responsible for its own processing and applicable obligations when engaging providers.

We use service providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments and email delivery. Google reCAPTCHA provides abuse protection, subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Technical visit information may also be processed for regional and service features. The recipients involved depend on the features and deployment used.

External processing may take place outside your country. Contact us for the provider locations, contractual arrangements and transfer safeguards applicable to your deployment.

Cookies and communications

Essential technologies support authentication, security and preferences. Optional visitor analytics and advertising measurement are disabled. Contact submissions are not treated as consent to advertising tracking.

Trial registrations and contact requests allow us to provide the trial and respond to you. Neither subscribes you to News or authorises advertising tracking. Cookie information is available below. News subscriptions require email confirmation and include an unsubscribe option. Service notices are separate from marketing; a limited suppression record may be retained to respect an opt-out.

Retention and protection

Retention depends on the purpose of the record and the agreed deployment. Workspace and account records support the active service and closure requests. Billing records may be kept for accounting and legal obligations; operational and security records support investigation and administration. Backup retention follows the deployment arrangements.

Contact us for the periods and export or deletion arrangements applicable to your data. We use authentication, permissions and HTTPS for the hosted service. Further information is available on the Security page.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact support@meshworks.pt; we respond within the applicable legal time limits. For data controlled by your employer or another customer organisation, contact its administrator first.

You may complain to the competent supervisory authority, including Portugal's CNPD. Material changes to this policy will be communicated through an appropriate service notice.
